Bio

Born in Madrid, worked as a child actor in TV, commercials and dubbing. Got a degree in Directing and another in Producing at Instituto del Cine de Madrid, directing 3 and producing 5 international award-winning films under the tutelage of Goya award winning and Oscar-nominated educators. My directed shorts were selected for Goya-qualifying festivals. Worked as a runner and PA in Spain's TV industry for a couple of years.

Moved to Sheffield around 2015, where I met Hugh Mann Adamson, with whom I began doing freelance corporate work, then part-time, full-time, and finally, as ENON films grew, went on business together in the UK and opening a humble branch of ENON in Madrid, Spain.

We’ve been working closely together for nearly 10 years under ENON films. We have produced BFI Network, Screen Yorkshire and Screen Industries Growth Network-funded short films and were selected for the Scratch Me Development Programme to produce for first-time directors and writers. We are now developing 4 feature films, 2 of them directed by myself.

We are also developing a TV slate after being selected in Channel 4’s Emerging Indie Scheme; we are strategy partners to The Kurious, Sheffield’s first post-production facility; and we've manage DocFest’s filmmaker's challenges, having worked with Asif Kapadia and Kevin McDonald and a cohort of exciting new documentary filmmakers. Also, I'm a BAFTA Connect member, and, from 2023 onwards, we will be delivering talks for BFI Academy.

We always make certain that the work is always accessible and entertaining using our experience of producing commercial content for brands such as NHS, Amazon, Royal Mail, Odeon Cinemas, and Puma; which demonstrated to us the importance of knowing your audience and how to ensure your work always engages, enthrals and entertains.

Over the last few years, we have been sponsoring the Spirit of Independence Film Festival, having helped develop the film festival into a BIFA qualifier, and for the creation of its Script to Screen competition, which allows new filmmakers to make their first funded short film. We also mentor young filmmakers and continue to run workshops, teaching the next generation of filmmakers, through Screen Yorkshire’s Beyond Brontes Scheme & the Connected Campus scheme where we do talks, workshops, and on-set mentoring for university and college students across all of Yorkshire.

Outside filmmaking, I'm an online communicator with an average 50K views weekly, and an environmental activist who was a member and elected spokesperson of Spain’s first Citizens Assembly for the Climate, receiving a Climate Action and Civic Engagement Extraordinary Environment Award issued by the Vice-President of the Spanish Government and Minister for Ecological Transition. Although this is massively influential in my filmmaking.
