Born in Madrid, Spain, I began my creative career as a stage actor at a young age touring theaters around Spain. After that I starred in some commercials and soaps in episodic and supporting roles before getting into voice acting and dubbing for foreign films and shows for broadcasters like RTVE, HBO, Showtime, and CBS. Inspired by the shows I worked on I decided I wanted to get into the craft side of filmmaking, studying directing, assistant directing and producing at the Instituto del Cine de Madrid with Goya award winner and Oscar nominated educators. This led me to direct 5 short films in Spain (2 original, 3 short play adaptations), and produce another 3 for filmmaking colleagues; with all of them going on to to gain selections and prizes in film festivals all around the world. Following this I moved to Sheffield and joined ENON films, creating corporate and commercial work for brands such as Amazon, NHS, and National Grid; using this work to fund more experimental narrative work alongside my creative and producing partner, Hugh Mann Adamson. Overall we have produced 9 narrative short films, including 2 BFI Network and Screen Yorkshire supported pieces, and one that was officially selected at Sheffield Doc Fest 2021.
